I write a lot in the passive voice and when the time comes I have trouble switching out of that. What are some tips I could use?

I wouldn’t worry about it while you’re writing. But since it’s something you’re aware of, try going back and editing just for passive voice. It’s usually not too-too hard to restructure passive sentences into active ones. Fear not!
