We know a fit or a health-conscious person; he may be a co-worker or a friend. But what we may not know about our healthy friend he may be a germaphobe.
Write about our germaphobe friend: how he looks like, how health-conscious he is and every health-related activity he may be involved in. But emphasize on his irrational fear of germs, germs, germs. Does he carry a hand sanitizer everywhere and use it every time he touches things that aren’t his? What are his cleaning habits? Does he despise people who sneeze? Does he have some immunodeficiency because of being “too clean”? Will he ever get over this fear of germs; how and when?
You don’t necessarily have to write about a specific friend—you could make up a germaphobic character.
Write about a kid and his/her dog who have become homeless. What happened?
This picture makes me think of that book They Cage the Animals At Night, which I think is the first depressing book I remember having to read.
