Livia’s “I’ve Never Done NaNo Before” Question #3: What about turkey?
Sorry to be repeating myself, but one of the reasons I decided to NaNo for the first time this year is because I have a 45 minute train ride to and from work every day. Since I bring my laptop but don’t have internet, I figured that’ll be the perfect time to get the majority of my writing done.
But this doesn’t account for the weekends, and, oh yeah!, Thanksgiving. Have any of you ever done NaNo where you take weekends off? Is it a bad idea to take two days off in a row, because you lose your stamina? And what about da Turkey day?

I personally have never done NaNoWriMo in any other way than writing at least 1667 words a day, every day. From college...

It’s possible to win by taking weekends off if you factor those missing days and spread them into your daily totals....
