Stripped to Sentiment: A New-Form Submission Blog

Hey guys—my friend started this Tumblr recently, and it sounds really cool. It’s a submission based writing blog, but the formula for submissions is really unique. Here’s the description straight from the site:

how this works

My name’s Zach. I write a lot of words. If you’ve read even half of one of these stories, you’ve seen some semblance of a formula.

I will continue writing stories following this conceit, but you should do, if you’ve ever hard an interesting realization about yourself or others in a relationship. The content doesn’t matter. There are only three rules, which we encourage you to break if you have a reason to:

  1. Follow the formula: 1 . 2 . 3 . 4
  2. They should be about everyone and no one, true or not true. You can share if it’s true or not, but no one might believe you.
  3. Write a Bio, or we will make one up. 
  4. If you are wondering about topics, write about:
your relationship
your friend’s relationship
your mom’s relationship(s)
that guy’s made up relationship
Peewee and Dottie’s relationship
the military industrial complex
torture porn
anything that goes on between two people that can be structured into a plot.
