Hemingway used to jot down 20+ titles for a story. Often the first one was the best choice. But from personal experience, if you wanna title something, title it with your signature of personal hot damn and them potatoes. While there are so many approaches, I think the point is to figure out what your 'in' is on the story that will pull it 'out' for the reader to get your 'in' on it for them. A turn of phrase that ties in to the narrative is an excellent example. Portal and Malkovich. –C
