My problem with Twilight is this: I was in an abusive relationship. I read Twilight and saw my own relationship in it, but didn't see it as abusive. Once I started reading the criticism on Twilight, I began to analyze my own relationship and realized it was BAD. But the book itself didn't help me see that, it was everyone else's critiques of it.
