YEAH WRITE!

Great news guys: my old internship position at Publishing Trendsetter/Publishing Trends/Market Partners International is opening again for Spring! 

Here’s what Elisabeth, who was my boss/center hand man (as in, I was her right hand man) while I was interning there, sent me:

We’re looking for someone to join the Publishing Trendsetter/Publishing Trends team in our Manhattan offices from mid January-mid May, a couple afternoons or mornings per week. You’ll get a chance to research, write, create new ideas and approaches about the Big Issues in book publishing today. I’d say the ideal candidate for this job is someone who is internet-savvy (and you’re all Tumblr-ers, so you should be… although Trendsetter does use WordPress but it’s not too hard to learn), has strong writing skills, is interested in the book industry and how it’s changing, and is either still in college or graduated within the past few years and is looking to get into the industry.

I truly believe that this was the PERFECT internship. I had so much freedom to come up with my own ideas, and the projects I was assigned were always interesting and helped me learn more about the industry.

PS And look how nicely they talked about me in their latest post about my favorite book for the holidays… I mean really what more could you ask for??
