idklolomghi asked: Please answer this I need an answer! :D
So, I love to write, writing is probably my favorite thing in the world as well as your blog <3
Anyway, I was just wondering, what advice do you have on description? Such as action and scenery are my two really hard areas.

You were top in the google search for it!
I have JUST started a petition for it to be brought back, if you could tell your followers to sign it, then that would help us all!

Thanks!

Ok yeah writers, here it is, my #1 tip
for being inspired, curing writer’s block, and improving your writing: Before you sit down to write something, read a short story. Anecdote time: My professor put an awesome course pack together for the intermediate fiction class I took last year, and there were two stories that really stood out to me: We Didn’t by Stuart Dybek (I’ve posted a link to that story on here before)...

PSA:
I know that the Directory still exists and that you can get to it by typing out the URL. I’ve had about 20 people send me messages telling me the same, and I thank you, but I’ve got it! Haha. Ugh I just hate that we have no way of communicating/advocating to non-followers now, it’s so dumb. I wrote Tumblr an email and they essentially wrote me back “Thanks, your feedback...

living-borderline asked: Hi there! I just recently started following you and literally JUST learned about your Prompts. I just wanted to suggest, if you ever need help coming up with prompts, an iPhone app called Writing Tips. It was created by a published author and actually has exercises that are similar to your prompts. I just thought you would be interested!

Those kinds of sites usually have directories and announcements about publications and competitions. I know of quite a few competitions for young writers, but most of them are Australian-based as that is where I am from :)
